Shaolin Kungfu Workshop

Physical and mental health are closely interlinked, yet in our stressful everyday lives, we often neglect one or both. If you join the Shaolin Kungfu workshop, you will learn the methods that the Chinese Shaolin monks use to not only defend themselves but also achieve a healthy body and a peaceful state of mind. The workshop will consist of 80% physical activity, where you will learn exercises that improve all aspects of physical health: strength, flexibility, explosiveness and stamina. The remaining 20% will cover various aspects to give you a deeper understanding of “meaning in movement” and “active mediation”.

Host

This workshop is being taught by Jakob Khoi Pedersen. Jakob has been practicing Shaolin Kungfu for the last 14 years and has 9 years of experience teaching Shaolin. He has studied under the Shaolin Monks, the Wudang priests in China and various martial arts masters throughout the world. Lastly, he has won both gold and silver in London.
